Common questions

Can I import my own 3D furniture models (GLB, OBJ)?+

Yes. The sidebar lets you upload GLB, GLTF, and OBJ files directly. Models are auto-normalized to real-world scale on placement, and you can fine-tune dimensions using the size presets panel.

How do doors and windows work on walls?+

Click and hold to drag a door or window onto any wall. The system automatically cuts a hole in the wall geometry. If you move or delete the opening, the original wall surface is seamlessly restored.

Can I walk through my room design in first-person?+

Yes. Switch to first-person mode and navigate with WASD controls. You can also pick up, carry, and place furniture while walking — giving you a true feel of the space before exporting.

How do I save and reload my room project?+

Use the Save button to export your entire scene as a JSON file — including platform layout, furniture positions, colors, and wall openings. Load it back anytime to continue exactly where you left off.

Can I customize furniture colors and materials?+

Absolutely. Right-click any placed furniture to open the radial context menu, then select the color picker. You can paint individual mesh parts or the whole model, and changes are saved with your project.

Can I export my finished room as a 3D file?+

Yes. Export your complete room as a GLB file directly from the browser. The exported file includes all furniture, walls, and layout — ready to open in any 3D viewer or share with others.
